Man lures teens on Facebook posing as underage

Florida – A Florida man who made phony profiles as teenagers on social media has been arrested for using them to lure teenage girls into having sex. As reported by WSVN, the man, Tadd Clukey, posed as other teenage girls through two known Facebook accounts he created.
Margate Police Lieutenant Jon Shaw is quoted as stating, “We know that he was targeting females between the age of 15 and 17 years old.”
According to an investigation by the Margate Police Department, Clukey would send friend requests to minors and then private messages after establishing a connection.
Shaw further stated, “He would transition the conversation from Facebook to the telephone. The private messages in the two existing cases that we have would ask if they were willing to have sexual relations with an older man in exchange for money.”
Clukey has been charged with multiple counts of unlawful sex with a minor as well as traveling to meet a minor for sex.
