Temple University Health System (Philadelphia) is opening a women’s hospital in the former American cancer treatment center in Philadelphia, according to article exist Philadelphia Inquirer.

This $30 million project will provide women with a range of professional care, focusing on obstetric services, as well as general surgery, breast surgery, vascular surgery, urology, internal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, behavioral health, radiology, breasts X-ray examination and MRI services.

The hospital will include 12 delivery beds; a 36-bed neonatal intensive care unit; 32 private postpartum beds; eight intensive care beds; and more than 75 examination rooms. A spacious patient area and an outdoor scenic walkway have also been planned.

The project is scheduled to open at the end of 2022.
