U.S. – A voluntary recall has been issued by Build-A-Bear Workshop for over 30,000 units of its Starbrights Dragon stuffed animal. As reported by CNBC, the company recently announced the recall saying that although the toy passed safety testing, stuffing on the product may become accessible to children due to a satin seam on the dragon’s middle section.

A reported 33,600 of the products were reportedly affected by the seam issue in the United States and 1,000 bears in Canada.

Build-A-Bear has said that there have not been any reports of injuries or safety incidents linked to the recalled bears.

Consumers who made purchases of the product, which was reportedly sold between April and August for $25, can return it to a Build-A-Bear Workshop for “an available furry friend of their choice,” according to the CNBC report.
