90s R&B singer dies in freak accident

Cleveland, Ohio – Singer Charmayne Maxwell who was a member of the 90s R&B group Brownstone recently died following what has been reported as a freak accident in her home. As reported by WebProNews, the 46-year-old was found by her husband unconscious at their home in Los Angeles.

A family member reportedly stated that the singer had apparently fallen and cut her neck on glass in the accident. She reportedly died on the way to the hospital as a result of a loss of a large amount of blood.

The LAPD reportedly told TMZ that foul play was not suspected in the case.

Maxwell’s brother tweeted following her death, “Bad things happened to the most innocent people. My sister died in the most terrible way and I’m in so much pain right now.”
