Denver – Attorneys for a man who was found to have been wrongly accused of breaking into someone’s home have filed a lawsuit against talk show host Nancy Grace and Denver Crime Stoppers. As reported by Fox 31 news, the man’s picture was released to the media and on the Internet prior to him being cleared of any wrongdoing by Denver police.

As noted in the report, Grace accused the man of being a serial killer on her program, which is syndicated nationally.

His attorney John Pinea, is quoted as stating of the matter, “We are interested based on the history of the research we’ve uncovered – we’re pretty confident there are other victims – and so we’re asking for other victims to come forward.”

The lawsuit is seeking unspecified damages.
