Los Angeles – Michael Jace was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the shooting death of his wife. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the actor was arrested after the body of April Jace, 40, was found in the couple’s home in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Michael Jace, who is best known for his appearance on the FX television series, “The Shield,” is accused of shooting his wife multiple times while the couple was having an argument. A motive in the killing was being investigated by detectives.
Jace, 51, who played LAPD Officer Julien Lowe on the hit TV show, had reportedly been dealing with financial troubles in recent years. He filed for bankruptcy in 2011.
“The Shield” ran for seven seasons and ended in 2008.
