New York – An unusual hit-and-run accident led to the arrests of two drivers, one drunk and one high on drugs. As reported by the Times Union, Malcom Sidbury, called the police on Thomas Robbins after Robbins sideswiped his vehicle and drove away, leading to both men being charged.

Troopers found the vehicles of both drivers on State Route 82 after the incident on Wednesday. Robbins, 57, was determined to have had a blood alcohol level of .25 percent, which is over three times the legal limit. Police charged him with multiple crimes including driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Troopers say Sidbury was high on drugs at the time, and he was also charged. Both men were released after being issued tickets.
