Los Angeles – LAX shooting suspect Paul Anthony Ciancia was set to plead not guilty to related charges on Thursday. As reported by Reuters, Ciancia, 23, stands accused of opening fire at the airport in November, killing a federal screener and wounding others.

U.S. Magistrate Judge David Bristow ordered Ciancia to be held without bond earlier this month, after determining him to be a flight risk and potential danger to the community.

Ciancia has been charged on multiple counts, with three of them carrying a maximum life sentence or the death penalty. Included in the list of charges against him are murder and attempted murder of federal officers.
