Tampa, Fla. – A bankruptcy judge has determined that Casey Anthony will not have to pay off most of her debts. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Judge K. Rodney May signed an order on Tuesday discharging what Anthony owes with the exception of student loan and criminal fine related debts.

As noted in the report, Anthony filed for bankruptcy earlier in the year claiming nearly $800,000 in liabilities and $1,000 in assets. She is listed in court papers as unemployed. A majority of her liabilities are legal bills.

Anthony has been in hiding since being acquitted in 2011 on murder charges in connection with the death of her 2-year-old daughter.
