Another major cryptocurrency exchange, Bitstamp, has listed the shiba inu cryptocurrency. Bitstamp users will be able to trade USD and EUR with SHIB. The announcement comes as more and more trading platforms are listing Shiba Inu, and more and more stores accept meme cryptocurrency for payment.
Bitstamp adds support for Shiba Inu Crypto
Cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp announced on Wednesday that it has added support for four other cryptocurrencies, including the popular meme coin shiba inu (SHIB).
In addition to SHIB, the three new cryptocurrencies on the Bitstamp platform are dydx (DYDX), gala (GALA) and perpetual agreement (PERP). Users will be able to trade them with U.S. dollars or Euros.
The London-based exchange opened Shiba Inu’s deposit and withdrawal operations on Wednesday. Bitstamp detailed that users “will be able to place and cancel limit orders on Thursday,” adding that “order matching will begin and transactions will be executed normally.” The exchange clarified:
Once sufficient liquidity has been collected in the order book, we will enable all order types and card purchases for the new trading pair.
However, Bitstamp pointed out, “At present, our US and Singapore customers will not be able to use these assets.”
Shiba Inu cryptocurrency adoption rate rises
