South Bank University Hospital (Bay Shore, NY) has completed the first phase of the $71 million Women and Infant Center. article exist News day.

The project includes four obstetric diversion beds and 11 post-natal suites with private bathrooms, LCD flat-screen TVs, and recliners and sofas that can be converted into folding beds for guests. Additional post-natal suites are scheduled to open in mid-2022.

The 45,560-square-foot two-story maternity and infant center is expected to be completed by the end of 2023. The center will have its own private entrance at South Bank University Hospital.
