U.S. – Juice company Martinelli’s is recalling certain lots of several of its beverages due to glass from the bottles possibly chipping off and entering the drinks. KSBW reported that the recall involves specific lots of “Martinelli’s 8.4 oz. mini glass bottles of Gold Medal Sparkling Cider, Sparkling Cider Northwest Blend, Sparkling White Grape, and Sparkling Red Grape.” The products’ “Best Before” date is after March 1, 2018 but before September 12, 2018, as shown on the front label.

The recall was announced as a precautionary measure after the company’s internal testing revealed that some bottles could chip when opened.

Consumers who have made purchases of the recalled products can return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Those with questions about the recall may call 1-800-662-1868 to contact the company 24 hours a day.
