Man injured in single vehicle accident in New Jersey

New Jersey – A man was recently injured in a one-vehicle accident in New Jersey. As reported by ABC 7 News, the man, who is stated to be in his mid-20s, was traveling on Airmont Avenue in Mahwah when the driver of the vehicle he was a passenger in lost control and slid across the roadway. The driver reportedly struck a utility pole that was on the opposite side.

 

The driver was not injured the report says; however, the Mahwah Police Department has said that the passenger was airlifted to the Trauma Center at Hackensack. The passenger was possibly the son of the driver.

 

The accident led to closures on Airmont Avenue the same afternoon as the crash was being investigated. Delays and detours were also expected.
