Fort Worth, TX – A motorist was killed in a three-vehicle traffic accident in Fort Worth recently. As reported by the Star-Telegram, the 34-year-old man died after his vehicle burst into flames during the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities had not released his name at the time of the report.

A woman was also reportedly injured in the accident; however, her condition was not available at the time of the report.

According to police, the accident involved an 18-wheeler, SUV, and minivan. Officers responded to the scene after 11:30 p.m. in the 3300 block of Interstate 35W.

The man killed in the crash was driving the SUV and reportedly ran into the back of the 18-wheeler. A minivan then hit the SUV, resulting in it bursting into flames.

The crash caused multiple lanes of the freeway to be closed for several hours.
