Oregon – A driver who ran into and injured three teenagers who were walking in a crosswalk near their school was allegedly recording video on her cell phone when the accident occurred. As reported by CBS News, the driver, 23-year-old Elizabeth Rachel Dove has been charged with multiple counts of assault, reckless driving, and reckless endangerment in connection with the incident.

Police say a seconds long clip on Dove’s cell phone shows she did not have her hands on the wheel at the time of the crash.

The three teenagers were high school students who ranged in ages 14 and 15. The victims sustained broken bones and other injuries, but all three survived the crash.

The accident occurred on Jan. 15. Dove was arrested on March 4.
