Niagara Falls even bigger attraction frozen

Niagara Falls, a breathtaking tourist attraction, has become an even bigger attraction now that it’s frozen. However, water continues to fall beneath and the sound is still present. Some say that on appearance it looks as if the entire fall has stopped and become an icy wonderland. The mist from the fall clings to anything it lands on giving it a sparkling, whimsical appearance.

Nearby trees and benches did not escape the frozen mist. They too are coated with ice and have transitioned into part of the glistening wonderland.

As reported by WebProNews, tourists are braving temperatures that dip 13 degrees below zero and wind chills that have been 25 degrees below zero to see it. The crowds have been gathering on both sides of the falls to view the frozen scene.

The frozen look of Niagara Falls is a rare occurrence. As noted in the WebProNews report there have been more visitors than usual to the falls since the freeze.
