Washington, D.C. – Model Katherine Webb recently discussed challenges she has faced with online bullying and her self-esteem before and after becoming famous. As reported by WebProNews, during an interview with Mario Lopez, Webb opened up about her feelings following criticism of photos posted on the Internet of her in a bikini, which some commenters spoke negatively about stating she appeared too thin.

Webb is quoted as stating during the interview, “This is a topic that is very sensitive to me, because I had self-esteem issues growing up. I was always the tall, awkward, lanky girl, and so it’s very important to me that people not bully each other about their appearance or their bodies.”

The model further told Lopez, “I will never support people bullying other people about their bodies… women that are bullied because of their weight, whether they are 150 to 200 pounds or 110 to 112, it doesn’t matter.”
