Los Angeles – Comcast has offered an apology over a customer’s name being changed to “asshole Brown” on a bill. As reported by WebProNews, a woman, Lisa Brown, contacted the cable provider after reviewing her bill and seeing that her husband’s name had been changed to reflect the inappropriate label.

Jenni Moyer, senior director of Comcast corporate communications, is quoted as stating to Yahoo Tech about the issue, “We have spoken with our customer and apologized for this completely unacceptable and inappropriate name change.”

Moyer further stated, “We have zero tolerance for this type of disrespectful behavior and are conducting a thorough investigation to determine what happened. We are working with our customer to make this right and will take appropriate steps to prevent this from happening again.”

As noted in the report, Brown maintains that upon calling to cancel a service, she was never rude to any of the Comcast reps.
