New York – Crayola’s Facebook page was reportedly hacked recently, resulting in not so family friendly posts being made on the company’s social media page. As reported by WebProNews, the company has issued an apology over the incident to those who may have found the posts to be offensive.

Crayola is quoted by WebProNews as releasing the statement, “Our sincere apologies to our Facebook community for the inappropriate and offensive posts you may have seen here today. Please be assured the official Crayola page has been restored.”

The company further noted, “We can’t thank our fans enough for the feedback and support we received while working to resolve the issue … you truly are the best and we look forward to an exciting and creative 2015!” said Crayola in a Facebook post.”
