Suspect arrested in Ashley Benson murder

Portland – A suspect in the murder of Ashley Benson has been arrested. As reported by WebProNews, Tae Bum Yoon, 27, was arraigned in Multnomah County Circuit Court following his recent arrest.

The connection between Yoon and Benson has not been stated by police. The body of Benson, a 2008 graduate of Reynolds High School in Washington, was found in a DoubleTree hotel stairwell in Portland last month. She was stated to have been a victim of sex trafficking.

Authorities are still investigating the crime.

Suzanna Mainor, a friend of Benson’s, is quoted as stating of the young mother following her murder, “She was a good spirited person who loved her boy more than life itself.”
