Mexico City – A man suspected to have fallen after a hike has been found dead. As reported by WebProNews, the body of Hari Simran Singh Khalsa was found on a mountain near Mexico City after he sent a text message to his wife about being late returning home.

Khalsa reportedly wrote in the text message, “I accidentally summited another mountain. Looks like I’ll be a little later coming back. Save me some lunch if you can.”

Ad Purkh Kaur, Khalsa’s wife said her husband had gone out alone while the pair were on a yoga retreat. The man was stated to have been an experienced hiker.

Gurusurya Kaur Khalsa, the hiker’s mother, is quoted a stating of her son, “He did occasionally get lost, but he was confident and experienced and he wasn’t fearful .?.?. He loved being in the wilderness and wasn’t intimidated.”
