Indiana – An Indiana man was killed after reportedly being attacked by a pit bull. As reported by TheIndyChannel.com, there were no witnesses to the attack; however, the Porter County Coroner confirmed that his death was caused by injuries sustained in the attack.
The man, Edward Cahill, 40, suffered several severe bit injuries, which led to a massive loss of blood. He was found by his girlfriend at his home unresponsive, and pronounced dead at the scene by authorities.
One of the two dogs at the home has been removed after demonstrating aggressive behavior.
As noted in the report, authorities are still investigating the circumstances of Cahill’s death.
