Los Angeles – Actress Cameron Diaz and Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden have reportedly gotten engaged. As reported by Us Weekly, the couple are making it official after seven months of dating.
A source is quoted as stating to the entertainment news source of the couple’s romance, “Everyone thinks it’s wild but are so happy for them…Benji always tends to fall in love easily, but this time it’s for real and he landed a great girl. They obviously both make each other incredibly happy and there’s nothing better than that.”
Nicole Richie, who is married to Madden’s twin brother Joel, with whom she shares two children, reportedly set up the pair.
Richie stated to Andy Cohen of making the match during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” in July, “Yes…I’m going to take responsibility for everything!”
