Los Angeles – Actress Jennifer Aniston recently discussed pressures she faces to become a mother as a Hollywood star. As reported by WebProNews, Aniston spoke about not liking the constant pressure that has been put on her in an interview with Allure magazine.

Aniston is quoted as stating in the magazine’s January issue, “I don’t think it’s fair. You may not have a child come out of your vagina, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t mothering–dogs, friends, friends’ children.”

The actress, who is currently engaged to Justin Theroux, says people began questioning when she would have children following her divorce from Brad Pitt, and that some have viewed her not having had children as of yet as selfish.

Aniston further stated in the interview, “This continually is said about me: That I was so career-driven and focused on myself that I don’t want to be a mother, and how selfish that is. Even saying it gets me a little tight in my throat.”

The magazine issue is set to be out on newsstands on December 23.
