U.S. – Several media outlets have reported on claims that female members of a submarine crew were secretly filmed while using unisex bathrooms. As reported by WebProNews, officials are investigating the allegations of the incidents, which reportedly took place on board the USS Wyoming.

The women were allegedly filmed while showering and changing clothes. Tapes of the recordings were stated to have been passed around to crew members of the submarine.

Navy Vice Adm. M.J. Connor is quoted as stating in a letter about the investigation, “Incidents that violate the trust of our sailors go against every core value we hold sacred in our naval service.”

Connor further wrote, “We go to war together with the confidence that we can rely on each other in ALL circumstances, and incidents of sailors victimizing other sailors represent an extreme breach of that trust!”
