Bahamas – A small plane carrying 11 people crashed in the Bahamas on Tuesday, killing one person. As reported by WebProNews, police had not revealed the identity of the 77-year-old man at the time of the report.

The plane was stated to have been serving as a charter for Southern Air, which is based in the Bahamas. According to Superintendent Paul Rolle, the Ferguson Air operated Navajo Chieftain plane crashed after departing from Eleuthera and preparing to land in New Providence.

The conditions of the other passengers were not yet known at the time of the report; however, some had been taken to the hospital for treatment.
