New York – LivingSocial has recently launched a new merchant toolkit aimed at facilitating better customer engagement. As reported by WebProNews, with Connect, businesses are able to customize thank you emails and offers released through the platform.
Kerry Lenahan, vice president of product management at LivingSocial, is quoted as stating of the new feature, “Small and large businesses alike turn to LivingSocial for introductions to high-quality customers… With Connect, businesses now have new ways to communicate with those customers, reaching them across multiple channels before they ever come through their doors and increasing the chances that newcomers become loyal fans.”
As noted in the report, Connect was tested with more than 2,000 busineses in various markets prior to its launch.
Arthur Hartunian at the Napa Valley Distillery, who used Connect as it was being tested, has stated of the tool, “This is a valuable tool to let customers know that we appreciate their business and to keep them coming back… We were able to choose an incentive that made sense for our business and was meaningful for our customers.”
