Baltimore – A Baltimore Ravens cheerleader who was hurt in a fall has been released from the hospital. As reported by WebProNews, the cheerleader was injured during a routine in which she was thrown high into the air.

A fan is quoted as tweeting about the incident, “Everyone please pray for a [R]avens cheerleader. I just watched her get put in the air and then dropped on her neck, and its pretty serious.”

A Baltimore Ravens spokesperson said that tests suggest the cheerleader will be ok following fears that she would be left paralyzed after the incident.

The spokesperson is quoted as stating to the Baltimore Sun, “The cheerleader was taken to a hospital for precautionary tests…Everything came back clear.”
