London – A computer glitch reportedly caused a major uproar at Heathrow airport recently. As reported by the UK Daily Mail, the issue resulted in hundreds of passengers being stranded on the tarmac for hours and arriving flights being unable to park at their destined gates for unloading.

As noted in the report, a spokesperson for the London airport purported the computer crash did not cause any delays; however several angry passengers vented their frustration about the issues on social media.

Sally Silver is quoted as tweeting, “An hour and a half on the plane at #heathrow and counting! Why do they let us on when they know we aren’t going anywhere.”

Many passengers also reportedly arrived at their destinations without their luggage.
