Madrid – A Spanish nurse’s aid is stated to no longer have Ebola after contracting the virus while caring for a patient. As reported by CNN, Spain’s Special Ebola Committee stated Sunday that a third test revealed she is now free of the disease.

The nurse’s aid, Teresa Romero Ramos, was rushed to the hospital earlier this month after experiencing symptoms of the condition. She has since reportedly recovered enough to produce antibodies.

Luis Enjuanes, an expert on viruses, is quoted as stating to CNN of tests for the virus, “The last two measurements were in ‘background’ levels, and there is no significant statistical difference with negative results… If for three times, throughout one week, you are background, background, background, in practical terms it means you don’t have the virus.”
