Los Angeles – Actress Alyssa Milano is reportedly leaving “Mistresses.” As reported by WebProNews, the star revealed on her personal website that she would not return to the soap for its upcoming season after two seasons on the show.

“Mistresses,” which was previously filmed in Los Angeles will be filmed in Canada after being renewed for a third season. Milano cited not wanting to uproot her family as the reason for her departure.

Milano is quoted in the report as stating in her post, “After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of Mistresses in Vancouver, Canada for financial reasons.”

Milano, who welcomed her second child with husband David Bugliari in September, is further quoted as stating, “It’s with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can’t relocate. I have two babies under 4. Being a mother and wife comes first and I just can not uproot my children and separate the family by moving away.”
