Dallas – Six people were killed in a car crash in Dallas Sunday, including three high school football players. As reported by the New York Daily News, the speeding vehicle crashed into a tree after clipping a curb and careening across multiple traffic lanes.

As noted in the report, four of the people inside of the car died at the scene, while two others were pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital. The deceased victims ranged in ages 15 to 23-years-old.

Two of the football players killed were freshman students at Kimball High School. Kimball’s head football coach, Carlton Nelson is quoted as stating of the students to the Dallas Morning News, “They were good kids and seemed like they were going to be really good leaders.”

Lynn Payne, a witness to the accident who was driving behind the speeding vehicle, is further quoted as stating of the horrific crash, “I told my daughter, I said, ‘Oh my god, if he don’t slow that car down something is going to happen.”
