Woman charged in Maine rollover accident

Maine – A woman was recently charged in connection with a traffic accident on Interstate 95 in Augusta. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the Richmond woman, 31-year-old Jennifer Beckwith-Pierce, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury following the rollover crash on Sunday.

According to state police, 29-year-old Adam Brezynka of Winslow, lost control of his pickup truck, rolling over several times, after swerving to avoid hitting Beckwith-Pierce when she drifted into his lane. Witnesses say she stopped her Jeep immediately, and then left the scene.

Brezynka, who was wearing his seatbelt, reportedly sustained only minor injuries in the accident.
