Hildale, Utah – A home originally built for religious sect leader Warren Jeffs has been turned into a bed and breakfast by its new owner. As reported by The Salt Lake Tribune, the Hildale compound, which was built as a refuge for the leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, was purchased by former Jeffs confidant, Willie Jessop, who filed a lawsuit against the church.

Jessop won the suit and purchased the home with a $3.6 million credit bid last year.

Jessop, is quoted in the report as stating of making the purchase, “The initial intent of [the compound] was to be something exclusive, and the bed and breakfast concept made it something inclusive.”

The home has been named America’s Most Wanted Suites, and has 14 rooms available for rent.

Jeffs is currently serving a prison sentence after being convicted of two felony counts of child sexual assault.
