Oregon – A highway worker was recently killed while doing work on a paving project. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Donald Kendall, who worked for the highway department for 29 years, died in a workplace accident on Tuesday.

Kendall was working on chip seal paving project along Oregon Highway 320 south of Interstate 84 near Echo.

According to a spokesman for the transportation department, details about the accident were not immediately made available.

The workplace accident is still being investigated by Oregon State Police.
