London – The toddler son of British singer Adele has won damages in a privacy lawsuit. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the settlement stems from a case against paparazzi who took pictures of the Grammy winner’s family during private moments.

Jenny Afia, an attorney for Adele, is quoted as stating Wednesday of the case, “It is a matter of profound sadness that many of his milestone moments, such as his first family outing and his first trip to playgroup, were photographed and published worldwide expressly against his family’s wishes.”

The five-figure settlement for damages will reportedly be held in a trust for the child. The agency has also agreed that they will not use the photos of the toddler, who is set to turn 2 in October, again.
