Montana – A Montana man was arrested after attempting to bail out his wife for a DUI arrest while intoxicated himself. As reported by Reuters, the man, Rick Fancher, was arrested on the same charge the day after his wife’s arrest when staff at the jail gave him a breathalyzer test.

According to paperwork, Fancher arrived at the jail early to attempt to bail his wife Stacey Jo out from her arrest Thursday night. According to a report by the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, he was subsequently pulled over by the same deputy that arrested his wife.

The paper further stated that the couple posted bail Friday morning and were released.

Attempts made by the AP to obtain a comment about the case from Gallatin County Sheriff Brian Gootkin or the Fanchers were not responded to.
