Seattle – One person was left dead following a shooting on the campus of Seattle Public University on Thursday. As reported by Reuters, three people were also wounded in the incident after the gunman opened fire on the campus.

According to police, the suspect, Aaron Ybarra, entered one of the school’s academic buildings and shot three people. He subsequently got into a struggle with a fourth person who was also wounded in the attack. Ybarra was restrained after being pepper sprayed by a security guard when he attempted to reload his gun.

Ybarra, who was not a student at the school, was reportedly booked into King County Jail after being arrested for the shooting.

A motive for the attack was not immediately made clear.
