Boston – Conservative media personality Glenn Beck is being sued by a Saudi Arabian man who was injured in the bombing attack that occurred during the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Abdulrahman Alharbi, 20, filed the suit in U.S. District Court in Boston over comments Beck allegedly made in reference to him on his show.

The lawsuit alleges that Beck “repeatedly and falsely identified Mr. Alharbi as an active participant in the crimes that were committed on April 15, 2013, repeatedly questioned the motives of federal officials in failing to pursue or detain Alharbi and repeatedly and falsely accused Mr. Alharbi of being a criminal who had funded the attacks at the Boston Marathon.”

Alharbi says in the suit that his reputation has been damaged due to Beck referring to him as “the money man” behind the attack.

The broadcast companies affiliated with Beck’s show have also been named in the lawsuit.
