Los Angeles – Singer Chris Brown has been ordered to remain in jail following his recent dismissal from a rehab facility. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), a judge made the order on Monday, with reasons for Brown being thrown out of the Malibu rehab facility outlined in court.

Among the listed transgressions was a comment Brown allegedly made during a group therapy exercise last week, which Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin claimed to have found troubling.

The rehab reported Brown’s response in reflecting on what he was good at as being, “I am good at using guns and knives.”

Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, stated outside of court that his client’s actions were due to him having a bad day at the facility and that jail time was not warranted in the matter.

Geragos is quoted as stating, “You know — do you have a bad day? I have bad days sometimes… Do you say things you’d like to take back? I certainly do. So I don’t know that being in a therapeutic session and you’re talking about your reflections and you say one sentence means you go to jail? Seems to me to be counterproductive to therapy.”

Brown, who has been on probation for an attack on his then girlfriend Rihanna five years ago, was ordered to remain in jail until a formal probation violation hearing is held on April 23.
