Malaysia – Information newly released by officials has led to more questions about missing Malaysian aircraft Flight 370. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), a new timeline suggests the final voice transmission from the cockpit could have occurred prior to the plane’s communications systems being disabled.

As noted by the AP, the flight disappeared in transit from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8. A reported 239 passengers were on board. It remains a mystery what happened to the aircraft as no wreckage has yet been found.

Malaysian Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein is quoted in the report as stating on Monday of continuing investigations and the possibility of finding the plane intact, “The fact that there was no distress signal, no ransom notes, no parties claiming responsibility, there is always hope.”
