Georgia – Jeffrey Simon Hubbard, who was convicted on charges related to the death of the 11-year-old stepson of singer Usher Raymond, has been sentenced to four years in prison. As reported by RollingStone, a judge handed down the sentence this week, a month after a Georgia jury found Hubbard guilty of homicide by vessel.

The child, Kile Glover, was fatally injured after Hubbard ran over he and a 15-year-old girl while both were together in an inner tube on Lake Lanier. Kile died several days after the crash.

Hubbard was also found guilty of additional crimes in connection with the incident including unlawful operation of a personal watercraft. He will be placed on probation for 15 years following his release from prison.
