Baltimore – The Baltimore Ravens are reportedly waiting to hear from team running back Ray Rice before deciding what action to take regarding his recent arrest. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Rice was arrested Saturday in connection with what Atlantic City police say was an argument with his fiancée that turned physical at a casino in New Jersey.
According to police, Rice and Janay Palmer were both taken into custody on charges of simple assault and released on a summons.
Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome is quoted as stating on Monday, “I have not had a chance to talk to Ray… I really don’t know that situation. With me, I get all the answers. Then that’s when we make decisions within this organization — once we get all the information we can get.”
