New York – The ex-wife of News Corp. mogul Rupert Murdoch has been accused in a Vanity Fair report of having been abusive towards him. As reported by The Wrap, the abuse allegations contained in the March issue of the magazine were released online in excerpted form by Gawker.

The Vanity Fair article quotes a confidant of Murdoch as claiming Wendi Deng once pushed the media mogul into a piano and onto the floor, “He couldn’t get up… He had to have emergency treatment that night.”

Deng was also accused in the article of having a wandering eye, having purportedly written a note about former U.K. prime minister Tony Blair saying, “Whatever why I’m so so missing Tony. Because he is so so charming and his clothes are so good. He has such good body and he has really really good legs Butt…And he is slim tall and good skin. Pierce blue eyes which I love. Love his eyes. Also I love his power on the stage…and what else and what else and what else…”

The marriage between the Murdochs ended last year. The two had not yet commented on the allegations at the time of the report.
