Houston, Texas – A Houston attorney filed a lawsuit against a psychic over an alleged breach of contract pertaining to a purported “love ritual.” As reported by the Houston Chronicle, Michael G. Busby Jr. filed the suit earlier this month naming Psychic Love Spell Center, Melena Thorn, aka Christine Mitchell, and others as defendants.

Busby claims he paid $3,200 to the psychic for a recommended ritual “to unite husband and wife” according to the petition filed in State District Court. Part of the money was placed in a box, with Thorn claiming she would return it to Busby after cleansing it, but it had not been returned by the time the petition was filed days later.

A request has been made in the petition that the suit be made a class-action, so others who have had contracts for services with the defendants in Texas may also be included.
