Los Angeles – Rapper Kanye West recently suggested in an interview that his public prominence is more significant than that of the U.S. president. As reported by ABC News, West, who has previously made comparisons of himself to Jesus Christ and other historical icons, said on Tuesday during an interview with the syndicated radio program “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” that he and his fiancée, Kim Kardashian, were more influential than President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.

West is quoted as stating during the interview, “No one is looking at what [President] Obama is wearing…Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day.”

West further stated of Kardashian, “It’s no way Kim Kardashian shouldn’t be on the cover of Vogue…She’s like the most intriguing woman right now. Barbara Walters is calling every day. Of course, we’re the most interesting and collectively we’re the most influential, especially in clothing.”
