Austin, Texas – No evidence was found of bullying in an investigation surrounding a complaint against a Texas high school football coach. As reported by The Associated Press (AP), Aledo High School coach Tim Buchanan stated he had been notified by district administrators that the complaint had been cleared Wednesday.

The complaint was filed by the parent of a member of the opposing team, the Fort Worth Western Hills, after Aledo’s last game in which the undefeated team won 91-0.

The parent’s statement in a copy of the complaint acquired by The Associated Press is quoted as reading, “Picking up my son from the fieldhouse after the game and taking him home was tough… I did not know what to say to my son on the ride home to explain the behavior of the aledo (sic) coaches for not easing up when the game was in hand.”

Buchanan is quoted by the AP as stating of the matter, “Basically, there were no grounds for bullying during the game, prior to the game or after the game.”
