New York – Joan Rivers is being sued by a corporation for $15 million after being accused of sabotaging a condo in her East Side building. As reported by the New York Daily News, Real Estate Holdings Group, which purchased the condo for $2 million from Rivers’ former neighbor Elizabeth Hazan in July, alleges in the suit that condo board president Rivers and others on the board ripped wires from the cable box and squirted glue into the locks of the unit among other things.

Hazan and Rivers have reportedly been engaged in a longstanding battle over unpaid condo fees.

Attorney Kevin Smith is quoted in the report as stating of Hazan’s latest public comments about Rivers, “I can’t comment on what she’s saying…I can tell you (the dispute) is over common charges, over $200,000 in unpaid fees and two prior actions pending. We’re looking at the latest lawsuit and preparing a response.”
