Florida – A man was found dead at the home of Olivia Newton-John in Florida on Monday. As reported by ABC News, the middle-aged man was found dead after purportedly suffering a gunshot wound, but his identity and cause of death were not yet released at the time of the report.

Newton-John, 64, and her husband John Easterling were not at the home at the time of the death according to police. The man did not live at the residence, and is believed to have been hired as a contractor.

A rep for the couple is quoted in the report as stating, “Olivia and her husband John are in shock over the tragic event that occurred at their Florida home yesterday… At this time we are awaiting additional information from investigators but, can confirm that the couple was not in Florida at the time.”
