Washington – Republicans are seeking to have programs that they say are promoting former Secretary of State and potential presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton pulled from CNN and NBC. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus recently made complaints regarding planned programming on the network, referring to the programs as a “political ad masquerading as an unbiased production.”

NBC is planning a miniseries, “Hillary,” about Clinton that is expected to be released prior to the 2016 election. CNN is purportedly planning to release a documentary film about Clinton as well in 2014.

Priebus reportedly sent letters to the two networks urging the cancellation of the programs, with the RNC threatening refusal of partnering with them for future primary debates.

Clinton has not expressed whether she will run for president in 2016 amid wide speculation about her future political ambitions.
